SVT patients with COVID-19 and 25% (15/59) in those who received COVID-19 vaccines. Dr. Peter McCullough has a stack on this and I decided to write my own, thanks to his sharing of a key study

Based on 123 case reports, the mortality was 14% (9/64) in SVT patients with COVID-19 and 25% (15/59) in those who received COVID-19 vaccines. Univariate analyses demonstrated that age (OR=1.061; p=0.017), diabetes mellitus (OR=14.00; p=0.002), anticoagulation (OR=0.098; p=0.004), and bowel resection (OR=16.00; p=0.001) were significantly associated with death in SVT patients with COVID-19; and anticoagulation (OR=0.025; p=0.003) and intravenous immunoglobulin (OR=0.175; p=0.046) were significantly associated with death in SVT patients who received COVID-19 vaccines.

Multivariate analyses did not identify any independent factor for death in both patients. SVT in COVID-19 patients and in subjects who received COVID-19 vaccines carries a high mortality, but may be improved by anticoagulation.’

Grateful for Dr. McCullough’s leadership in this trying period as we seek answers, try to mitigate risks and reduce the suffering, and pull our way out of this COVID lunacy.

McCullough (see stack below):

‘Because the Spike protein on the surface of SARS-CoV-2 causes blood clotting, most venous thromboembolic syndromes are seen in both COVID-19 patients and those who took the vaccines. It is my experience that the highest risk patients are those who have cumulatively been exposed to the Spike protein via multiple injections and one or more occurrences of COVID-19 illness.’

Courageous Discourse™ with Dr. Peter McCullough & John Leake
Splanchnic Vein Thrombosis with COVID-19 Illness and Vaccination
By Peter A. McCullough, MD, MPH Over the the course of the pandemic I received many calls from patients and their families. One of the most difficult symptoms to evaluate over the phone is abdominal pain. Most patients whether at home or in the hospital need a doctors exam to assess acuity, tenderness, peritoneal signs, distension, and incipient gastro…
