COVID vaccines may impair long-term immunity to the virus; Research suggests that vaccination against COVID via mRNA vaccines may reduce body's ability to produce key type of antibody.

Israeli research showed us what we knew that COVID mRNA vaccine is damaging, subverting the immune response (limited production of antibodies to N-protein); South Africa? Portugal? Vax rate vs cases?
See graphs produced below.
I had shared the recently published (pre-print) study by Follmann et al. prior but wanted again: The nucleocapsid protein (N-protein) envelops the genome core (mRNA) and it is very stable or conserved and does not mutate readily like the spike protein. Natural immunity/infection produces antibodies to the N-protein.
2)SOURCE (this is the actual pre-print study):
“Among participants with PCR-confirmed Covid-19 illness, seroconversion to anti-N Abs at a median follow up of 53 days post diagnosis occurred in 21/52 (40%) of the mRNA-1273 vaccine recipients vs. 605/648 (93%) of the placebo recipients (p < 0.001).”
South Africa infection/cases, note we can see the waves get higher per successive wave, does not return to baseline, and more rapid curves etc. South Africa is one of the least vaccinated nations on earth, see 2nd graph.
India literally has no mRNA vaccines and continues to outperform most, and it has to do with use of early and prophylactic treatment for COVID. South African continues to do well in the era of OMICRON. Portugal continues to struggle with OMICRON and is one of the most highly vaxxed nations on earth.
Portugal and India:
Vaccination rate by COVID cases per 100,000 in 50 US states, data from the NY Times COVID tracker.
