Fauci says he will not work for Trump if re-elected, says "If you look at the history of what the response was during the administration, I think, you know, at best, you can say it wasn’t optimal"

What the goblin, the lilliputian seems to forget is that the deaths due to lockdowns and school closures were his & Birx & Collins, not Trump's, he Fauci mislead Trump, I fault Trump not firing him!

Yes, it was not optimal but due to the clown car of a Task Force that he Fauci was daily part of and people like Fauci and Birx and Francis Collins. Yes, it was a disaster. Not as much as Biden’s response but all the same, two of the greatest disasters happened under Trump. Trump is not Jesus as Barnett said, and that means he gets to be wrong and he was catastrophically wrong in not firing Fauci and Birx day 1 as he allowed them to lead the lockdowns and response and they conspired with CDC and FDA and NIH to damage his presidency…they all did. I still see he does not understand how much they did hurt his presidency…and how he allowed Bourla of Pfizer and Bancel of Moderna and NIH and Fauci and Azar et al. to mislead him so much on the fraud injections…fraud, the data was fraud and it was ineffective and harmful yet they brought it and it has killed thousands.

To me, Trump accomplished what most others could not and is the greatest POTUS and should be judged in year 3 of his presidency only, first 2 years Paul Ryan destroyed. He did stunning good. But let us be honest and understand we are in the disaster we are in with these lockdowns and vaccines and mandates due to the lockdowns and vaccine in his presidency. I do not blame him, he was terribly misinformed and misled by Fauci and Birx et al. He will have to speak to that at some point and how he was convinced that these injections were optimal over early treatment and a focused protection. Again, I do not fault him but we suffered disaster and he was POTUS. He has to understand people suffered due to the lockdowns and school closures. The lockdowns failed. The lockdowns in the US killed people. POTUS Trump whom I think should have a 2nd term, should say he screwed up, and it was his mistake, and should say ‘here is my plan if re-elected to reverse all the madness and get us back to normal’. We need to know. We at least are entitled to someone accepting responsibility for the wrongs done and the lives lost. He will be admired more if he did this.

“If Trump were to return to the White House as President, and COVID was still a threat or there was some other public health emergency, would you have confidence in his ability to deal with a pandemic of this nature? Would you want to stay on at your post?” Acosta asked Fauci.
